The latest addition in the area is the placing of a Moa statue on 28 May 2011. It located at the entrance of Waikari in the Stocks Reserve on the corner with State Highway 7. This area is still in development and will show the journey in time for the area form the early Maori settlers to the present time. A statue of a Corriedale sheep as representative for this area was the first step.
